Google is a very popular search engine and widely used today. Did you know, behind the success of Google, there are interesting facts that you do not even know. Well, here are 5 interesting facts about Google.
1. The name 'Google' is an accident.
The name 'Google' is inspired by the word Googol which is much wrong in spelling it into google. Googol itself according to Google search results count 1 Googol = 1.0 × 10100, the number 1 followed by 100 zeros.
2. Google's first Twitter on Twitter
The first tweet that dikisyukan via Google's official twitter in February 2009 reads:

 "I'm 01100110 01100101 01100101 01101100 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01101100 01110101 01100011 01101011 01111001 00001010."

 For those of you who are layman with binary programming language, writing from Google is more or less means "I'm feeling lucky" which then became a feature on the search engine.
3. Google does not exist in China
Google may invade other countries in the world but this does not apply to China. Yes, it turns out that since January 2010 Google is not available in China. Google announced this in response to hacker attacks on their sites and several other US technology company sites. They are no longer willing to censor searches in China and will withdraw from the country completely if needed. And on March 23, 2010 at 3:00 pm Hong Kong time, Google began redirecting all search requests originally from Google.cn on redirect to Google.com.hk
4. Google's plain page.
The reason why Google.com's interface page seems flat is plain because its founders did not understand HTML and just wanted a quick look.








5. Google Doodles Ideas

You Google users will know about Google Doodle. Google Doodle is a flawed Google logo graphical display. Usually in the form of animation to mark an event or an important event in the world. Such as the birthday of the figures or a country's independence day. But, did you know that Google Doodle was first designed as a message that they're "out of the office"?

 In 1998 Brin and Page took a weekend off to go to the "Burning Man" festival in Nevada. As a message that they are out of the office. They put up a graphical logo "The Burning Man doodle (usually shown on the top left) designed by Google people. Then it is added to the homepage page to let their users know that they are out of the office and can not fix technical problems like server crashes.
